Always a prolific reader, Jonathan Kaplan's first article was published in his hometown newspaper, The Reporter Dispatch, when he was in the 6th grade.
At age 12, raised on a staple of DC and later Marvel Comics, he storyboarded, directed and photographed his first Super 8mm home movie, (typed on a Smith Corona manual),to the great acclaim of his friends and chagrin of his family.
Since then, his cinematic and literary skills have improved dramatically.
